Had a customer in inquiring about doing a canvas transfer of her ltd. edition print. I told her that generally anything that is not reversible like dry mounting will decrease the value of her print. We discussed the number of canvas transfer editions that are coming out and how that reflects on the standard advice. I told her that I'd check with a greater audience and get back to her. Your thoughts please. Dave

I would make her sign a release, and add a note inside the finished picture that she was made aware that this process would void any resale value of the print. But,frankly if that's what she insists on doing, she will find someone who will do it. Oh yeah, I wouldn't put your sticker on the back either.

Since the state of the print will be changed there are copyright issues. The artist or the artist's publisher could sue the client and/or the person who changed the state. Be careful. You would be wise to check previous threads on this topic.
