I am trying to use my Wizard to cut a mat that has the cut art "CornerScallop" grouped with a rectangle and I can't get it to let me make a linear for the mat.

I used just the rectangle template and grouped the scallop on all four corners. When I try to add a second mat it will only add it to the rectangle when they are not grouped.

Does anyone know how to add another layer to the cut art? I even tried just making another mat with the openings .25 smaller and the scallop doesn't line up correctly. (Hope this even makes sense to someone)

Sounds like a job for Pathtrace.

Go to the cut screen with what you have.

Merge the openings.

Go into Pathtrace. Offset the outline. Save the mat.

It is not quite that simple, as there are a few more steps in between, but if you are familiar with Pathtrace that would be the sequence.

If you are not familiar with Pathtrace it will take you a while to figure it all out. Wizard tech support may walk you through it.

You can also call Wizard! They are wonderful and I'm sure they would help!

WOW

Now thats what I call customer service! Ken from Wizard just called and walked me through how to do the offset in PathTrace.....Now I just hope its as easy as he made it sound!

Thanks for the QUICK responses!!

When you are ready to proceed.... call him back. They are more than happy
to stay on the phone and hold your hand as you walk through it.

Of course.... my fav is Dani. But hey, if you have a report with Ken... work it.

Almost anyone there is great to work with.

Baer Leave Dani alone she is mine......

Look for the little icon next to the envelope or use {img} at the beginning and{/img} but use [ & ] instead of the {}

It also has to the images url and not the facebook pages

Cool! Looks great, thank you so much for sharing!
