I am looking to match this frame for a customer.

It is 2" wide, and about 1" tall.

Thank you,
Sarah

Maybe even Framerica. Looks like hotel framing with their Bonanza Wood.

It is not frame rica, studio or pw.

Any other ideas? Does it look familiar to anyone?

More clues needed. Is it stain on wood or a faux finish on gesso. Can you get a shot that is more straight on the front.

I don't think there is gesso, it's stained wood. I think it's mahogany stain, but what kind of wood? Walnut? Should be something lighter. Can we see the back side? I actually like the frame, very pleasant.

I have a moulding almost identical to it but it has a gold bead on the lip. Finish, size and shape are a match other than the bead. Bogus finish on gesso and that's why I'm asking.

If that piece has a lacquer finish and was framed more than 10 years ago I would bet it is basswood and was made by Victor. A straight on photo would answer a lot of questions.

I am curios, because to me it looks like this frame has natural order. It has a flow, hard to make on gesso, but of course I might be wrong. Definitely photo
would help.

Larson antimicrobial Arqadia? Did you look at Direct? My first thougt was also Studio.

I wonder if it was made by a woodworker.
Did the customer say it was done at a frame shop?

The customer took the photograph, I have not seen the frame in person.

It is for a hospital, and was framed about 2 years ago.

I believe it is a stained wood, and my first guess was also Studio.

Thank you for your help. I will keep searching.

BTW, it is the second time I've seen this moulding from a different framer for a corporate job, which is why I thought it would be recognizable.

Tha .t could be Evald 460, which, unfortunately, is dicontinued. Hard to tell from the photo

I believe Decor had a version of this that was lighter, years ago. Or it was Don Mar.
