From a letter to my shop e-mail:

"I have an old frame that I'm trying to get info on. It has a William Whiteley label, which I understand was a large store in Britain. It appears to be#of the#Arts & Crafts era. I can't seem to find much info online, but I'm sure I'm just not looking in the right places.##I found a link to your site and thought perhaps you could give me a little insight or some weblinks so I can do a little research. I've attached a quick snapshot of the front of the frame."

Any Arts and Crafts experts who might help her out?

Shows how much I know, I have always looked at William Morris as the father of Arts&Crafts movement.

I have one that is in that same style, hand-carved only with two oval openings and it contains photos of my grandparents before they got married and they married in 1912. I put a Queen Victoria LJ around it back when they were real nice finishes - as opposed to the "dipped in plastic" current finish.

Same kind of large carved daisy/pointsettia-type flowers.
