Can you change Facebook name?

I've had a personal Facebook profile for maybe a year. Don't use it too much. When I heard that Facebook was allowing people to name their facebook (Eg: facebook.com/mybusinessname) I made mine my business name, to make sure the other 6 businesses with the same name didn't get it.

....but then after doing that I realized that I should have created a business-only profile, since I only have family and friends on the personal one.

So, if I create a new profile for my business only, can I transfer my extension-name?

Once you set up the name of your business page, there is NO WAY to change it. Therefore it is important to decide thoughtfully what you want to call your page, and to spell it carefully when registering. The only solution would be to save all the info on your page somehow, delete the page, create a new one with a different name, and repopulate it with the previous content. As we all know, there are many things about facebook's user interface that leave a lot to be desired.

Don't know about that but you are allowed to change the custom url name associated with your personal FB page 1 time because I just did it last weekend. How that would tie in with a business account, who knows.

Personal page, maybe, but I remember reading specifically that there is no change possible to the name of a business page.
