Hey,
It's been a while since I've posted, but a customer has asked if I can provide any information on this print. She sent me the attached photo, of the print and the signature line. Anyone familiar with this one?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the writing that you showed is the name of the print not the name of the artist. Is there any writing on the other sided of the image?

It is either the title or an attribution to the original artist (After De Fooscher)???. Appears to be an etching and resembles ones done for the tourist trade in Europe. This one appears to be fairly modern, but the genre goes back quite aways.
Edit: after a third or fourth look I would be guessing Dutch, maybe Peter Odems, or Yalva can help.

Sorry, Meant to include this earlier - bottom left corner reads:

No.12403 printed in the USA. Calms Des Flandres after de Booscher

Sorry, not familiar with this one. I believe de Booscher was the publisher? (if it is Joos de Booscher).

Definitely a Dutch scene though. Are there any other marks/signatures on this print? The title doesn't make much sense either (and why in English if it is a dutch scene)

This reminds me of a "Sherwood Edwards" scene. He did some paintings of Dutch streets. Otherwise not too familiar with this scene.

Where's Peter? He might know. Send him a PM if he doesn't see this today.
