Hello All,

Looking to see if anyone has a C&H combo cutter that they do not use and may want to sell some parts, mainly the cutting "block". We have one that has some of the threads starting to strip (get your minds out of the gutter).

Nielsen says this is a known problem but they never sold and never will sell a replacement "block". They will sell new screws but what good are they if they will not stay tight? I have tried to rethread but it has not been the best solution.

Thanks for your help.

Instead of using the block, you can do what other C&H owners do, use a utility knife. Use the rest of the machine as a good straight edge.

C&H makes great LOOKING equipment, so that it is easy to sell at trade shows and in showrooms.

In an actual working frame shop, their equipment leaves a lot to be desired, as does their receptivity to actually trying to solve the problems inherent in their products.

John
