 The owner just left on a two-week vacation. She said, “Make any decision you have to – just treat the business as if it was your own.” It’s my big chance!

Okay, :D my decision is to sell the business.

Well established Art Gallery, Custom Picture Framing, and Interior Design shop in Port Angeles on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.

Owner retiring after 16 years. Reduce the risk and take over “The Bergsma Showroom” with an active mailing list of over three thousand clients. Dealer for Jody Bergsma and Rie Munoz. All furniture, fixtures, inventory, equipment and a trained staff (including me  ) willing to stay with the business. Building optional. Recent gross sales $150K to $220K. (360) 452-5080

I assume that this post is "tongue in cheek", if it is not, you need to have a long "sit-down" talk with the owner. Were I to come back from a vacation and find my business listed without my knowledge there would be a rather brief session with the one that I left in charge.

Says right on their website - owner retiring

Okay, I'll fess-up. :D

The owner asked me to post the business for sale and helped draft the note. Yes, the owner is retiring but has not made final plans. She is seeking a possible buyer, and she is on vacation -- but can be reached.

So, my future is not in jeopardy -- well, not at the moment.
