"Budget" Moulding?

Bonnie,

Talk to all of your sales reps. They might have a line that you don't know about or be able to offer you additional discounts that normally wouldn't apply. Working with your current suppliers could bring your sales up a notch to a better discount on your everyday orders.

Some of the better polys are starting to look and feel very good, and IMHO can beat low end wood and mdf in appearance. For around 1/2 buck a foot at 2" wide.

Check out My Moulding 530-163 which has a very nice rustic woody texture and Universal EC432 which has subtle texture and is more modern looking. The catalog pictures don't do these high density, subtly textured, rigid mouldings justice, they do not look like plastic at all. Almost 100% yield, no warped sticks, super-consistent, and sooo easy to work with. The problems people claim to have with polys come from treating them like wood, you need to use different techniques with poly.

For wood you should also go see Southwestern moulding, they will want 3000 foot minimums.

Hey Bonnie and Buzz, give us some more info on what you are looking for in moulding. Style, finish and width. Also how are you buying. Length or box.
