Brisbane...???

I would look on the Aussie Grumble to see what is going on with this show thingy thats on next week but it seems that it doesn't work anymore, or just plain isn't there.
Booked and ready (apparently, I only got told today that I'm going), flying in on Thursday and back out on Sunday.
Is there a night that would be suitable for others to meet up and have a meal like last year? Are there any Grumblers that know this area? I am yet to hear back as to whether any of the ex-Kiwis I know in Oz are in Brisbane so I'm not loaded for plans yet. Also would like to know how big and where abouts this Brisbane place is???, is it warm, cold or snowing there at the moment???

Aussie Grumble is still going- just. I think people just got sick and tired of f---wits flaming people who were just making sensible suggestionsand asking sensible questions. I put out a feeler the other day and there are a few from down south coming up. I was going to contact them next week to organize something. While I'm here, Osgood are you coming up. Alan

Indeed the Aussie Grumble still works, but traffic has been light. I just checked it out now, and see that you've "rediscovered" it.

There was a discussion previously about the Fair, in which Jared Davis lists all sorts of restauarants and accomodations in Brisbane. Go to the General Folder and down one or two pages and you'll find the subject: Trade Show.

There was also a discussion there on an "Aussie Grumblers" dinner on Saturday night, organized by Jodie Prymke but that is the same evening as the "Industry Awards Function" at the Riverside Canteen following the Fair hours. I would opt for a gather of Grumblers on Friday night as well.

My wife, Sarah is also flying in on Thursday, so let's hook up on Friday night regardless. See you in OZ!
