Boxer advice?

I know its hard to believe but after 10 years in business, we just built our first Framerica Boxer frame.
Is there a really slick way to join the 2 frames together?

Where I used to work, we'd glue them together and then run staples along the seam inside the rabbet. Felt purdy dang strong to me.

Like Erin, we glue and staple the extensions. The woods used for the Boxers are soft and take medium staples well. We use a hand held mechanical medium stapler i.e. non-pneumatic, non-electric stapler.

Once you’ve driven the staples (if you have enough room), hammer the staples flush with the interior.

Mending plates may be necessary for some work, but IMHO they are a bit overkill for Framerica.
