We finally made the decision and purchased the latest Print Mount Hot/Vac 40 x 60 press. Thanks
RobM for your comments. You are right. We have had such good luck with the Print Mount presses over the years, that we are staying with their brand. Dry
Tac supply catalogue looks excellent though and now we will have to compare prices, try different tissues, etc. to decide what we will finally use.

Stuck on you...no more!

Yay, Kirstie! Now you and your team can breathe easier and you can walk away, no, run away, from those cans of spray adhesive. And you'll be amazed at how much cleaner your shop area will feel! (Not to mention, the inside of your nose!)

I'm proud of you!

Early riser or a night owl??

Hey, whatcha doin' up so late??

Yeah, I can't sleep either.

Drank a quarter bottle of Knutsons cherry juice and am still wide eyed and not so bushy tailed!!

So much for THAT remedy!!

Yeah, I drank too much Cherry juice too, and had to get up to pee, and now I'm wide awake again. More cherry juice? And up again to....ah, never mind, you know the drill. Vicious circle. Might as well Grumble.

Edit: Oops, your green light's out now...nite-nite, Framerguy!
(chants to self) Cherrrrrry Juuuuuuice..............cherrrrry juuuuuuice.....you're getting sleeeeeepy....cherrrrrrry juuuuuuuice
Zzzzzzzzzz

Okay, so it is 5:11 for you folks by my home clock, and 11:10 p.m. the next day (for me). I have had quite a bit of wine and scotch with amazing people here on Flinders Island. Val. You need to know that your recent posts about the Wizard have convinced me that I need one to start my business. I appreciate your deliberations about it and you agonizing over how it would work and how much it would cost...all the same for me. But I am convinced thanks to you. :) Going to Baltimore and hoping that there will be a show special on it that will help me as I don't have a lot to start my shop with...we will see!

Kirstie, I also wonder about what vacuum press to buy. I am glad that you made your choice and I hope to hear your good comments about your purchase! I will have to make that choice myself in the next two months! Carry on good framers! :)

Hint--I ws offered show specials by both press manufacturers after the WCAF was over. Be sure to ask.

New Heat Mounting Press

We also threw out our VacUSpray cans for good. last year.... Purchased a new Bienfang Heat Roller Press during the recent WCAF. So far, it's been a great solution for our drymounting orders. Frees up a lot of space, too. Now, just need to figure out what to do with our 40X60 Cold mount press and we'll have enough room for that small dancefloor we've always wanted.

I put mine on Craig's list and eBay. No bites so far. I put it up for $1200. Possibly too high, but I just listed it yesterday. You CAN give them away for almost nothing because we sold our old old one for aboput $100 on Craig's a few years ago and it sold on the first day. You'll be dancing yet...
