My last corporate job bought all my framed antique botanical prints.

I am looking for a source for reproductions of botanicals (for the next order, antique is not a requirement)

Thanks in advance.

Great corporate job, Paul!

I've got a handful of book color plates and some mini embossed watercolors that need a good home (been in the store forever!). Make me an offer!

Great corporate job, Paul!

I've got a handful of book color plates and some mini embossed watercolors that need a good home (been in the store forever!). Make me an offer!

It looks like you have been rummaging thru my print bin!! I also have some of that womans pieces..the small one of the basket. I thought her stuff was really nice bit only sold one over the years.

Paul, I have a few also and I will check out the sizes and get an email off to you.

Paul... I probably have at least several hundred botanicals, bird prints, owl prints, mushrooms, vegetables, etc. These are prints from the pre-50's, 60's and 70's. Most are fairly nice quality, bookplates, etc. in sizes ranging mostly from about 5X7 to 18X24's with some larger.

Not sure how many you are looking for.

They are mostly priced in pencil with my grandmother's handwriting. She passed away almost 35 years ago.

Somewhere I have an envelope with old book pages of lovely botanicals. If I remember right they have a "logo" in the bottom corner a circle with the initials JH and 1908.

Hummm wonder where those are?

Well Paul, looks like you got many offers! Now, granted, a lot of your fellow grumblers will try to rip you off and make money on the deal...but not me. You and I go way back, and this will prolly just cost you a bit more than a stamp and an envelope ;)

Btw, these two came from a book that the store's previous owner had. Never knew about it until some old lady came in to the store one day and told me about it. We looked in a dusty corner and found the book. Since this isn't what I wanted to carry in my store, I believe I gave her the book to keep. Hope she enjoys it!

OK people, thanks for all your kind offers to help, please note that the ones I am looking for (and what the corporate folks want) look like (or compliment) those shown below:

And as I said, reproductions are fine or not very expensive originals.

Those do have French mats and gold leaf frames, and obviously I am buying only unframed prints.

Thanks again!!

Roudete botanicals will compliment those very well. Dave at Frame Makers should have a couple hundred he could help you out with.

A local Vermonter does original botanicals, and I just discovered that they also do giclee prints if you are looking for a more budget option. They target framed retail, but if what they have is what you're looking for it wouldn't hurt to inquire.

Disclaimer - we used to make the moulding for these, but since a restructuring of their company the person who built the frames is no longer with them and they are not buying moulding from us anymore.

Thanks David!

As luck would have it, just had a customer come in and frame 2 botanicals and she is looking for more....;)...so all those leads will be handy.

She's looking in particular for one antique print of a collection of pine cones. Now where did I see that one recently.....???
