Suggestion Bookmarks

Hi and welcome!

Sure, you can bookmark any thread in the normal manner. Once viewing, it add a bookmark/favorite entry. (Alt-Z or use the pulldown menus in your web browser)

Or CTRL+D if you use FireFox.....

Or, if you really want to be organized:

Create a folder on your desktop (Right click, New / folder) Name it whatever you want.

Then when you see a thread you like, click on the icon thingie to the left of http://www.thegrumble.com/blabla, (see picture below). drag and drop it into that folder.

This way you can rename each link such as Shadowboxes, Fabrics, etc)

Easier than it sounds, by the way.

In IE7 if you add an open thread to your favorites (or a favorites folder) the name of the thread as it appears in the tab is preserved - no need to rename.

Thanks all!

I guess I wasn't thinking clearly last night when I asked that question; all that grumble crack messed with my mind :) I understand how to make bookmarks in my web browser and I have marked several that way.

I should have been more clear in my query. I would like to be able to bookmark a thread from with in the grumble, which would then create a list of favorite threads that would be available to me in my profile page (phewww, long sentence, sorry). This way I would have all I need and would never have to stray away from the grumble pages!........Except to get coffee.....unless someone can get the grumble to provide that as well.... :icon21:

I think what you want to do is "subscribe" to a thread. Go to the top of this page and click on "thread tools" tab...a drop down with "subscribe to this thread" will appear. click that and it will then show up in you User CP until you remove it. Hope that helps.

Sweet! That's it Dawn! Thank you! I have been subscribing to threads all along and knew how to view them from the control panel. But what I didn't realize was that I can label and create folders and then place my new thread subscription into the appropriate one. EXACTLY what I was looking for!

Geez, It may seem un so, but I really do have more than 2 brain cells! It's just that cells 3 & 4 have been on vacation (somewhere in Tahoe, I think. The snow is fab!)
