I did this for my husbands Christmas present. It is from a local artist who did the cover for his bands CD. Used real pheasant feathers for the inside. I thought it came out kind of neat.

they are dark brown with little black dots. They could be guinea hen feathers for all that I know about feathers. I used spray adhesive and glued them down and then cut out the opening.
