Just updated my Lifesaver mat database to find it deleted ALL the Bevel Accents along with other Alphamats.

Before I start complaining to someone at Lifesaver and Bainbridge, has this happened to any other Lifesaver users???

Having far too many "senior moments" recently and this was one.

The reason they were "deleted" was that I had entered Bevel Accents in my mat categories where Lifesaver has them in their "moulding" categories.

Hence, I guess the program "saw" them in the wrong category and deleted them

Mr/Ms Administrator: you can delete this thread.

Is there no cure for senior moments???

“Senior moments”

Michael I think these moments have more to do with you keeping a very close watch on your business, the more you keep watch the more you will make the odd error and have to back track.

Who said? “The person who never made a mistake……..never made anything”

Michael, I've been having senior moments since I was a senior (in High School! at that!)

I had the same problem, unfortunately didn't discover it was a mistake until I had thrown my samples away! :(

As I suspected, Lifesaver did contact me within the hour and said they show them as mouldings, not mats.

Since I'm open late on Thursdays 'til 8, I have plenty of time to reenter the things in the moulding database.

Thanks for the kind words, Dermot Yeah, I watch things maybe too closely at times. But it's fun

Michael,

I may be having one of those SM's, too, but after reading your first post only and not the subsequent ones, I went to my FrameReady program, and I can't find the BevelAccents in either moulding or mats. I just updated yesterday, and they were there before than.

Wonder if FrameReady will contact me. I'm still waiting for a response to the DJ problem; it's been about two weeks now.

You know, you folks aren't providing much motivation for me to move from my do-it-yourself POS system to one of the commercial packages. If I ever do that, I need for it to be senior-proof.

Ron

Update-------For anyone who "lost" their BevelAccent prices,

Carol of FrameReady called yesterday with the following information: After updating the Bainbridge Mats file, if you go back to the Vendors' Download page, find BevelAccents, and download them, you are back in business.

I'm not sure I understand how they got deleted, as the BevelAccent date is not recent, but they must have been a part of the earlier Bainbridge file, and got deleted with outdated mats??? Beats me. But all I know is the fix works.

Thanks very much to Carol of FrameReady.
