I have a very small shop without a computerized mat cutter, that being said. I Have to give a huge thank you to http://www.customdesignworkshop.com/cdw/default.asp Elli on more then one occasion has been there to save my butt. Should I be short a board or need a mat cut she is there to help, and never charges me enough.

I have been sick lately and can not hand cut some the mats my stitching customers have needed Elli took a big part out of her day to cut a heart mat for me so I can fit a flexible accent into it.

This is the kind of helpfulness that will help grow the PPFA, she is a shining example of a true helping member and a asset to our entire field.

Thank you again

I've invited her before.... put the strong arm on her. She's our kind of peoples.

Were you the Jill she got a book for?

Nope not that Jill, but i am sure the list of people she has helped is very long.

I am so glad she selected Oshkosh to open her shop in. Having a framing friend this close is a big help to me keeping my shop open at this time. It is very hard to be a one framer shop when the framer is chronically ill.

It's always good to have a backup system in case an employee gets sick, leaves, or you have a family issue. We have backups for matcutting, canvas stretching, glass cutting, frame joining...and yes, we do them mostly all ourselves. Sometimes it's not cost effective to do it yourself and a supplier might charge you a better rate than if you did it yourself.

Three Cheers for Elli! I know all the way across the country that she is a sweetheart and always willing to share her knowledge!
