Between the sheets....

I had a customer yesterday who brought in 3 signed sport jerseys to be framed.

She said she saw a sport jersey at a friend's house mounted between 2 sheets of Plexi....and wanted them framed that way.

I showed her some shadow-boxed jerseys and she changed her mind immediately. She ended up opting for shadowboxes for all three.

I haven't heard of a full-sized sport jersey being mounted (and not moving around!) between plexi sheets.

Anybody knows / heard anything about this method??

I've seen it done. Had to re-do one to a shadow box for a customer awhile back. Smashed between two sheets of plexi, she said every time she looked at it, it reminded her that she needed to make her annual mammogram appointment. And she already had.

She liked the look of the shadow box method much better.
