I used to get these hard oak frames in different colors, and a range of other ready made frames at sizes like 24x36, 32x40, stuff like that, but I don't remember the company name, and right now the place i get ready made frames from is fine, (pacific frame source) but they can only go up to 18x24, and thats the limit with larson juhl as well. Also, preferably wood frames that could be cut down if need be?

these here look pretty similar to the style i remember:
http://www.frameusa.com/wood-frames/architect-picture-frames

but it looks like that is retail prices?

i'm on the west coast if that helps

American Moulding of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania has a few profiles. http://americanmouldingandpictureframes.com/ They are a small family business and are accommodating. Shipping for the larger sizes could be pricey though.

I'm going to third that.

I sell their barn woods. I recently placed an order for about 200 feet of moulding. The owner, Steve, was in Wilkes Barre today and dropped it off. I mentioned this thread to him and he said give him a call.

FrameUSA has a wholesale program, too. I‘ve purchased their oak frames several times — always pleased with the quality. (and, their packaging/shipping is excellent).

I've been looking for the same thing ( quality ready-mades larger than 16x20) at wholesale rates, in Canada.
