I recently bought a very large building where half of the gallery walls are concrete. Rail system and tap-cons are my best options, I believe. The lighting in the gallery is a little K-Mart ish, so I like the idea of spots that will fit into the rail. I've looked at STAS, but am nervous to order a system this expensive without my framer friend's recommendations. THANK YOU!

I ordered an Arikawa system for a client opening a new medical office.
I was impressed with the quality.
I did not do the installation, so can't speak to that part.

I'll Third Arakawa. We use it in the gallery and have sold and installed it in commercial spaces all over town. They have good quality components and have a consistent history of making compatible hangers etc., i.e. if you bought a system 15 years ago, you can still buy the hooks and wire to go with that system. That may not be true of newer untried companies.
