I just hung up on a moulding company who had me on hold for 19 minutes and 29 seconds. I don't need to place an order, I'm calling to report a cracked chop, but if I DID want to place an order, I may have given up a long time ago.

Who decided that these automated answering machines were a great idea? Who decided that DECREASED customer service was something good? I cringe when I get one of these, and ironically, the phone companies are the absolute worst. You can rarely get a real person on the phone.

So, I guess I'll have to call back when I have the time to sit and wait and wait and wait. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:fire:

Do they have a Facebook page? Call them out on it - or send them an email. That is way too long to wait on the phone. I hung up on LJ last week when the "Your wait is less than two minutes" turned into "Your wait is over two minutes."

I have just spent 90 mins on the phone to my cellphone provider. :icon11: Oh Happy Day!

Help! I am getting calls from ruptured Daleks. :icon21: They did sort the job out though. Fair dooos.

Most of that was on hold.

The reason I switched to LJ-connect to do orders. I tried for a while to continue support of those very nice CSAs, but the waits became too much.

I never have that problem with LJ as I have direct numbers at our distribution center with real people right away.

I wouldn't mind waiting 2 minutes, but 19 minutes would have me fuming too!!!!

I need to order on Mondays for Wednesday delivery and Atlanta doesn't work so well then. I can only get New York by calling Atlanta.

I usually phone LJ on Saturday afternoons when the wait is short or non-existent. I forgot last week, called too late on Saturday, and had to call on Monday morning. Not gonna make that mistake again!

We also use LJ connect. I rarely call in an order. It's either online or faxed in. However when you have a cracked frame rail, there's no alternative to calling. I've never had this problem with this company before, so maybe there is an issue with their phones.

I agree especially about the telecommunications companies!
