Asking for ideas on the possibility of somehow sinking a portion of the towel (hand towel size) through a matboard backing. The idea being to only show 1/4 of the towel after folding (Prince's trademark shape is embossed on only the bottom quarter of the material). I know I could use fabric fasteners to hold the folded towel in its folded position, and the float on a mat backing, but am open to ideas to reduce the exposed volume of the towel so it looks less voluminous.

An aperture cut for a nice tight fit could be nicely concealed with a narrow towel rail cut slightly wider, then the bottom could be stitched/fastened to prevent it flopping forward.

Don’t throw the towel in.

Is the customer fine with the section on display eventually being more faded than the rest of the towel? Just checking.
