Searching For attention photographers

Had a gal call me to inquire about finding something that would release two photos that had become stuck together. Would immersing them in a liquid, whether it is water or denatured alcohol, work for this situation? Has anyone every successfully tried this? Did the photos release cleanly or is there some tearing of the image? Thanks in advance.

I'm gonna guess that the two images are toast. The surfaces have probably merged into one surface.

That'll teach her not to put photos face to face and then get them wet.
