OK - I am really confused. I would like to delete/remove some of my forum picture attachments and can't figure out how to do that. Any advise? Thank you

Joe,

I don't think attachments can be deleted.

If you send me $50...... I'll tell you the secret..........

No wonder I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks for the response, I won't look any further.

By the way, you may have goofed it up for Nicole though, I was going to send her $50.00 for the answer. :icon11:Joe B

Mike, us peons don't have any edit or delete menu or buttons for attachments.

For that reason I switched to using URL links. No sense wasting Grumble space when others are available - like Photobucket.

What an interesting link, Mike - I had no idea I had accumulated 33 attachments (1.82MB). I am pretty sure all of my photos have been posted using either my website URL or Facebook. Guess not.

The problem with Photobucket is that many images posted by Grumblers have disappeared over the years. One only discovers this when searching old threads - most of the images seem to have vanished into the ether.

When I went to that link, for images posted up to July 2008, there were check boxes on the right side of each image panel and at the bottom of the page, a 'Delete Selected' button.

Not here. In a little while, when I have time, I'll try turning my computer upside down. :p

That's what it looks like for me, too.

Thanks for the image. I'll bring this to Bill's attention. Perhaps a setting is amiss somewhere.

Mike

Thank you all - this is exactly what I was questioning. There doesn't appear to be any way to remove any attachments. I know that before I could remove the attachments and was wondering if something was changed or if I was doing something wrong. Hopefully a key will be installed to remove the attachments.
