I am seeking suggestions for attaching a picture frame to a wall so the attachment is behind the frame. Have you seen the Ryman Hanger? http://us.absoluteproduct.com/ryman-hanger.html

Seems to be a nice way to attach the frame to the wall. Has anyone used the Ryman System? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

You do not say if your frame is wood or metal and if security is an issue.

If security is not an issue, there are many solutions including those from Hangman Products www.hangmanproducts.com or FrameWare www.frameware.com.

Fletcher Terry also has a very good system. http://www.fletcherviscom.com/FSpecialty/Wireless/main.html

If security is a concern, both Hangman Products and FrameWare products can add an additional "t" lock to the bottom of their top mounted hardware. Or, you could use the industry standard AMS "T" type lock security system that also is made by FrameWare.

I do not understand the compulsion to use the Ryman system which is way over priced.

For metal frames, there is no better system than Frame Secure from Frame Tek. AMS (and FrameWare) also make security systems for metal frames.

If hanging systems are of interest, there will be a class at the WCAF on Sunday called, A Survey Of Installation Hardware and Techniques." Attendees will receive many samples to try and take home with them.

Security is not an issue; wood frames

Thank you very much for the links.
