Where's the gremlin for "beating a dead horse"? I just received an email from our friends at Decor and it was about new items from Frame-Fit. They advertised a gun for fabric attachment and the call it "Tach-It" and their slogan is "one gun does it all." So for $84.95 you get one gun, 3 needles, 1700 each 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 inch "barbs" plus an instruction manual.

I think this is the best proof that this type of product is a good thing to have in a frame shop and I hope that everyone involved in Attach-EZ realizes that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I'm sticking with my Fine-Fabric tool and using mostly the 1/4 inch fasteners. I cannot see any use in my life for other lengths.

I did however see a store product catalog with lots of the cheap Avery guns and polypropelene fasteners, some of which came in COLORS!!! I think black would be great, then primary and secondary colors. Can nylon come in colors? Is polypropelene archival? (It is advertised as such in sheet protectors...).

Just stirring the pot..... ;)

We have the attatch e-z in our shop, and I've used it on occasion, but...
As far as I know
Although it's too slow
This old framing pro
Will continue to SEW.
