Is there a web site or an 800 number that can be used to regiter for any and all Atlanta educatioal courses no matter who is offering them? I would like to do one stop shopping.

I have heard from some of you that registering for the edexpo classes (PPFA and PFM)is a bit confusing. I was able to get an 800 number for Debbie Salmon who can help with questions and registering. 800-969-7176 ext. 221 Also, if anyone is having problems with the DECOR Expo website, hang in there I am having the site looked at for problems.

Thanks and I apologize for any inconvenience!

Jaime, (other G's may wish to skip)

I'm hoping to reach you via The Grumble because my other attempts are not working.
Is there another method to register for classes in Atlanta? My telephone call to Debbie Salmon hasn't been returned, and I emailed you just recently via the Decor site because--I must be a complete idiot--I can't seem to get to any place to register for classes (only for the show itself) on the Decor site.

I would be more patient, but a series of events rely on having registration confirmed for a certain class by the end of this week. Hotel and airline arrangements are dependent on this information. Pamela, the Grumblers' most gracious hostess, and I both go out of town by the end of the week, and need things tied up.

Thank you so much for your prompt answer.

Marcia

Mel,

At first I was confused also and did the same thing you did, finding only the page to register for the show itself.

However in the middle-bottom of the Decor Expo page, you'll find a hyperlink that will load the Atlanta EdExpo Registration. This does require Acrobat Reader to load, however.

Once completed you can expedite the registration process by FAXING this to 404-832-3611 It appears thal ALL the classes are listed!

Regards,

John

Debbie Salmon is in charge of everything PFM does at trade shows -- the buck stops there. As you might guess, she's one busy lady right now. So, if you call her to register for classes, it might be October before you get her callback.

Ms. Salmon can help with serious and urgent problems, but she definately is *not* the one to call to register for classes.

In the "EdExpo" brochure that came with Picture Framing Magazine this month (and I think with Decor next month), there is a handy pull-out registration form. It contains schedules, prices and code numbers for all the classes. It also includes a PPFA membership form.

Help Guys

I have tried everything to get the Education link to open with no joy it just freezes my computer and I then have to boot up again I have being trying on and off for a few weeks.

Picture Framing Magazine I have never seen and Decor will not arrive on time to make bookings (John Taff this is not a dig just that the post takes a bit of time to get to Ireland)and I'm away for holidays next week.

Is there any other way to get a copy of the educational program so that I can at least make a decision as to whether any of the courses will have any relevance for me, barring a faxed copy or some other way to get details could someone fill me in on the possibility of booking some courses when I get to Atlanta i.e. will a few places be held back for those who can,'t get details in advance or will the reality be that courses can be booked when I arrive.

It's not a big deal I going to Atlanta anyway and will try and take in a few more shows in the US over the next few years, I just don't want lose out on something which may have a strong relevance for me, though I have to say if everyone continues to be as helpful on The Grumble as I have found them to be since I found it and as helpful as the visitors I've had from the US I have little fear for my further education.

Thanks guys

Dermot

I not too busy too reply. I apologize for any problems in registering for classes. You can register online at www.pictureframingmagazine.com . Go to PFM Seminars and then there is a link to register for edexpo classes which includes all classes. For those that have questions or concerns, please call Gail at 800 969-7176 ext 247. As of Thursday, there was availability in all classes. I will post any sold out classes. I am available to also answer any questions but the best way to reach me is email at dsalmon@hobbypub.com. Looking forward to an exciting Atlanta show.
