Vermont Hardwoods
Vermont Hardwoods is offering help to custom frame shops throughout the entire eastern seaboard that have been damaged by flooding due to Irene. Chops are available at length price, and the Hoffmann Dovetail Wedge system is available at no charge. Lastly, there will be no handling charges on any order no matter how small. Shops do not need to be current customers to qualify.

Primarily due to concern for shops in Vermont, these free upgrades are being offered through August 31, 2012 as an attempt to get and keep these small businesses back on their feet and keep them there after what many are claiming is the worst natural disaster in Vermont's recorded history.

To qualify, please send a photo of your damaged shop with a statement that you are in need of relief as a result of Hurricane Irene to DW@VFH.US, or call 888-442-7396 for more details.

Mods: feel free to move if you feel this is inappropriate here.

David, do you mean Sept 31, rather than Aug 31?

Only 30 days in September and look at the year.

David, that is incredibly generous of you.

Classy move, David.

Jo, aren't you in Shelburne falls? Right on the river? How did you fare? How about the town? I saw some youtubes of the water going under the Bridge of Flowers.... insane footage, hope you're ok...

Thanks Jeff.

I have family in Western MA, grew up with in 15 miles of the Falls, in Ashfield and have friends from there.

Very compassionate offer, David. Your offer is generous and shows just how caring this industry can be for each other.

Dave Kudos..
It really shows you How Independents can help each other.....remember this well...

Again Kudos Dave...

I appreciate the accolades but what we're really looking for is people we can help. Please pass this info on to anyone you think may benefit. I do know that those most affected will likely be a few weeks trying to get things cleaned up or moved. I'm sure we'll be hearing from Jo (riverside) as she's already a customer.

We now have a page on our website with an application form. Very short and sweet - unless we suspect you're scamming us anyone will be approved.

To qualify, please send a photo of your damaged shop with a statement that you are in need of relief DW@VFH.US, or call 888-442-7396 for more details.

Thanks David!

Year round would really help. Less is always in need of relief. Does this also include the increase for buying more?
