Searching For artist James W. Harris...

have a client who wants to commission a painting and can't locate him..we have some of his works (prints) in the gallery (signed J.W. Harris) and they are primarily
coastal scenes and birds and only info on them is "c. 1999 James W. Harris Fine Art Images"..don't know where I got them but no google results and he is not in the artist registry....anyone know anything to help locate this guy??? thanks.

I found several sites where his posters can be bought
(art.com, onlinewall.com, art4sale.com) but no information on the artist.

Not sure if you're familiar with askart.com, where several artists James Harris are listed (2 in the US, one of them in Florida). Only problem, in order to find out more, you have to sign up. Not sure if you're willing to go that far, but maybe someone on the G. is a member and can look further?

thanks Ylva, I am aware of his prints..we have about 20 or so in stock, all different subjects..he is probably in Florida, but not sure....all of my sources seem to think is no longer in biz..but I'll keep searching...thanks again.
