The United Kingdom's Fine Art Guild released a five step standards policy on framing that was, to me, very interesting. It is published
in the Sept 2000 issue. If you don't take this pub, it is free to the trade for asking(at least we have never paid), also available on line at www.Artworldnews.com. If you can determine some of the nomenclature differences, it's interesting stuff. Especially, in light of the controversy of mounting dustcovers. They claim ATG and white glue as not acceptable on anything except the most basic of framing. Everybody sure has their own opinions, but take a look at these standards.
