One of our clients is a 'stager' (for lack of a better term) for the National Park Service. He was in today putting together stuff for a ca 1910 art studio which they are assembling in Connecticut.

So, the questions are:
a) what sort of wood panels would have been found in the studio? They can have the panels fabricated, if they have some sort of idea what wood, thickness, etc

2) do any of you have old paint tubes (dried out are perfectly OK) that are metal? The modern ones have painted labels, and the photos of the studio show metal with simple labels that cover about half the tube. Also could use a few wood-handled pen nib holders.

We have sold them stretched canvas, pigments, ready-made frames of different styles and some other accutrements.

Thought maybe some of you folks could help, so I said I'd ask...

I have a whole whack of old lead oil paint tubes - let me dig them out - I can send you a photo...... But these would be from the forties and fifties.....
