Hi, all. Does anyone else purchase open edition prints from Art in Motion? I have some customers wanting some prints, but the company has changed ownership and increased the minimum to $1,000 per order (not sure how they will be able to sustain that), way higher than what I can meet. I'm looking for others who might want to aggregate orders to meet the minimum. Thanks.

LOL $1000 min for posters. I bet that policy is gone in a month or else they will be.

5-6 year ago I ordered every month, they changed ownership and then said that all they would do is sell preframed art, no prints. That changed after 6-9 months but discounts changed and my ordering changed to 3-4 time a year. placed an order for a few dozen prints at the beginning of January and found out about their new policy a week later, asked for a 1 time exception since some prints were for a customer and was told no exceptions. After spending 10s of thousands of dollars with them over the years, I say screw them!

We used to deal with them as well as they had some very good pieces however when I started to see the same things pop up in Bed Bath & Beyond retailing for less than what I was buying them for I went another direction. If you can't find what the customer wants, visit BB&B to see if you can get it from there.

We use to order from Art in Motion all the time but have had the same problems as all of you. I was told it was sold to a large company out of China with an office in California. I was also told they specialize in selling framed art to the big box guys. That may be why they can't be bothered with order under 1000.00.
