I remember when all the paintings were stolen from the Gardner Museum in Boston, many years ago (none ever recovered). The news reported that men came to the back door of the museum dressed as Boston city police. My sister-in-law, who is from Boston, asked "dressed as? What makes them think they weren't cops?"

Hope they didn't FOLD the paintings and put them in briefcases like Pierce Brosnan did in The Thomas Crown Affair.
