PFG, Picture Framing God
I am full of questions today. I am asking this question for someone at Michael's. Three years ago when we had what I affectionatley called "The Three Amigos" working for us the store manager went on a quest for any training manuals in Spanish. Since Michael's headquarters is in Texas we assumed they would have something, no dice. Since Artistree is in CA and TX we assumed they would have something, no dice.
Marc's answer to a fellow Mexican Grumbler in Spanish on another thread made me think of it. It is one thing to say "Hola, Como esta?" It is quite another to say "No, you use these hangers and these screws, and then you twist the wire this way because these hangers are only meant to have the wire twisted a certain way." I was attempting to have that very conversation with an interpreter just the other day. The interpreter doesn't frame so she doesn't really understand what I am trying to say anyway. Conversational Spanish is fairly common but technical terms are very difficult. Considering how the workforce is taking shape here in the west anyway I would think there is something in writing somewhere.
¿Sabe cualquiera donde puedo obtener uno?
