Hi there,

I'm trying to match a piece for a customer that was framed by Aaron Bros. -- she thinks about 2-3 years ago. She tried to have them duplicate it but they no longer carry the frame and had no suggestions for her. I only have the photo you'll find below in front of me at the moment, the actual frame is back at the shop. If I remember correctly, it's about 2 to 2-1/2 inches wide and it has a bit of depth to it; maybe 2 inches or so. I can get more specific measurements if needed when I get back to the shop tomorrow morning. Here's the photo. You can click to enlarge.

Thanks, all!

Connie

Layed out swan in bass wood. a poorly done rendition of a Don Harrington finish... you Aaron Brothers. They chunked it out in Mexico until it got to expensive... easy enough to repro.... get moulding from Foster Planing Mill, paint from Aaron Bros, they even will have the sea sponges and cotton waste for the wipes.

CMI Moulding #4294 is a similar look. look it up on their web site cmimoulding.com

Baer: Your keen eye fascinates me. The quality of that photo was not the best, yet there you were with a quick answer. Unfortunately, custom finishes are not my forte and I doubt that the budget my customer had in mind will cover my time and effort.

Billie Bob: Thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely show that to my customer. Do you have the sample in house by any chance? I'd love to see a bigger picture of it than what is on the site.

Anyone else have any idea?
