Fairly new here and have a question regarding signed sports memorablia - I have 2 large photos of Brett Favre signed with cert. of authenticity as well as a small photo of him signing. Is it a standard practice to mat all 3 on the front - It seems a little cheesy looking - Or would it maybe be a little nicer to place the certificate into a small window on the back - any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Holy cow - you are from the picture framing capital of Wisconsin!!! (and no, that was not a cow joke!)

I would probably frame only the photos and place the certificate into a mylar sleeve (or even a poly sheet protector - I use a lot of those for the documantations on the back of things) on the back of the dustcover. I kinda like the idea of the smaller photo of the actual signing.

Anyone from Wisconsin using the phrase "a little cheesy" is suspect. Double because of the Appleton homebase...welcome to the Grumble scotta.
btw I'm a moderator and I moved your thread so more Grumblers would see it.

Thanks for the suggestion - And yes my occupation is a musician - I started this as a home based - Obviously I can't play music on a full time basis forever - I started doing this with my own projects in mind and now it just seems to keep growing. Almost every other day someone is wanting something matted and framed. I really hope to stay home based - Although I know from "lurking" here awhile, that some don't approve - I just like being a one-man shop.
