I've been considering adding lines such as the ASF welded steel frames and some funky multicolored closed corners from another supplier. After reading Marc's article in PFM I decided to get going and do it. But before I invest in these samples, I thought I'd ask if any of you have had success with some of the funkier lines of moulding? We sell a lot of Roma in our shop, and I'm hoping these new lines might sell as well. Any success stories?

I do well with ASF welded steel. I have also had success with Animaux, as far as funky closed corners go. I don't mean to say I'm selling five a day, but we're in pretty similar markets and I think you'll have no trouble making back the cost of the samples. (Remember to consider the shipping when selling large frames from these lines)

Framechick,
I know Boston (ASF) is much closer to N.Y. than California, but I am wondering if you can give me a rough estimate as to how much shipping might cost. Shipping for a small or a large/ oversized frame. I know what their packaging charge is, but not shipping. Any info would be helpful. Thanks, Kara

Just yesterday I got the new Roma supplement--and this just shortly after I "ranted" elsewhere about why these high-end guys can't provide updates to their catalogues?

Anyway, there are many fascinating new colors/profiles to their line, and some rather inexpensive. Ordered about 30 profiles to stick up on the wall.

Would really love to sell more Roma--it's SOOOO sexy.
