Stacked combo, to complement a room of family frames. Inner is Gryphon, outer is Universal/Arquati.

Outer frame is ornate black with a warm wash and antiqued silver lip.
Inner is soft black and gold with scratchy stripes.

First, I considered hiding the space (by attaching another frame to the back, flush with outer edge), but it made it too massive.
So, I just told him it would hang away from the wall, and he was fine with it.
