Ammonia Based Cleaners

Would like to find an informative article on the cons of using ammonia based cleaners such as Windex.

I dont have cons for you, but have tried them all..and sparkle wins in my book

The best cleaners don't use amonia, like Sparkle/Tru Vue or Glass Plus. Windex leaves streaks, I think most will concur.

Last year, I switched to Baer's suggestion and have been very pleased with
the results. Namely, a few drops of Shaklee Basic-H in a bottle of water.
It's safe enough to wash vegetables in, and it does a great job on the glass.
I like not having to inhale questionable stuff from cans anymore.
