Searching For alligator skin frames

You can get skins from a leather supplier.

I would have several questions:
How deep are the pockets of your customer. Alligator skins are expensive.
The size and profile of the frame.
Do they want real alligator or a simulated alligator from leather.
Have they an opinion as to the color and texture.

I would use contact cement to attach it to an unfinished frame. Contact cement is used to make leather goods.

If you're interested in creating a texture cheesecloth can create a nice impression in gesso. I found A liitle piece lying around the shop to give you an idea.
