Alan Abeyta is our featured guest at the Mountain and Plains PPFA chapter meeting on September 25. Alan has a shop in Phoenix Arizona and has agreed to come up North, for a few days. Alan has had several articles in our trade magazines, and his shop has won several blue ribbons in the competitions.

The event starts at 9:30 at Colorado Moulding. The cost is only $25.00 [$40 for non PPFA members]. And includes lunch.

Alan will speak about design in Thinking Outside the Box..

He will also show and tell about Painted Glass Mats.

We will also see the results of the competition. This always provides wonderful ideas on ways of framing.

We hope to see you there!

Yes, and after the meeting there will be a mandatory 12 mile run and a 36 mile bike ride.
:eek::eek: Only kidding! :eek::eek:
This should be a great meeting.

This should be a great meeting.

Just watch out for those cattle guards - dangerous for biking!

Thanks Alan, Pam, Colorado Moulding and Studio Moulding

We had a wonderful chapter meeting with Alan leading the morning session on great designs, and the afternoon session on glass mats. 21 people on a football weekend [plus 4 people from Colorado Moulding and one from Studio] That is amazing.

Thank you Alan.

Also, Pam thanks for all of your efforts, including getting Alan to come up North.

And of course, Colorado Moulding was wonderful to let us use their facility. And Studio Moulding provided the door prize.

The designs from our chapter in next years competition will be even better after we digest some of Alan's ideas.

Had a great time with Alan and all the others. It is always fun to talk and share ideas with framers from other areas.

 Congrats to all that entered the framing competition.

I think we all learned a lot about how entries are judged.

And a big THANK YOU to Colorado Moulding and Keith from Studio Moulding!

Yup, it was fabulous! Wish I could have stayed for the afternoon class. Alans ideas and designs are amazing! Great turnout too.
