The cheap all plastic air regulator for my Mitre-Mite VN42 broke a couple of days ago. It just "popped" apart in four pieces and I could not fix it to save it. I checked their website for "Parts" and could not believe something made so cheap was so expensive! So...... i purchased a regulator from Grainger. The regulator is "industrial" grade, ALL metal (except for the control knob). The price of the regulator PLUS the shipping cost saved me over 60%! Also, it fits in the same opening as the removed plastic one. Make note of this if this happens to you in the future: Order "Item # 4ZM07" & "Item # 4ZK13" (both located on the same page).
