Have a difficult customer I am bending over backwards and tying myself into knots to attempt to please. Worked with her for at least one hour just trying to find one frame to work with three LE prints. My only saving grace is that they are all one artist and same style. Colors coordinate only on two, third is a mismatch and I only have her half-sold on not trying to use same mats on all three prints. Although she seemed to be coming around when I spoke with her this morning. Now, she is in this morning because she has a frame, she didn't bring with her and didn't get a picture of, that she would like to try to find for these prints. I'll throw out a description and then you all can start flinging darts at me, but if hopefully someone will possibly have a similar moulding I could present this woman.
Here goes:
flat moulding with rope on outer edge and beading on inner edge.

What you may need to do is look for the moulding with the rope on the outside, and use a fillet or enhancer to add the beading.

as for color, all the customer mentioned was "dark wood". I know that isn't of much help. width I would imagine is at least 2 inches. i think you are right though, paul, i may need to look at stacking, fillets, or both.

I applaud your attempt. But you know you will never please this customer, right????
Be firm! You need to see the frame in order to match it.

Good luck...

Take A look at the following Wall Mouldings
# 229 - 3.625"
#611 - 3.5"
#1018 - 2.25"
#984 - 3.5"
#610 - 3.5"
#987 - 3.5"
All have rope outer edge and beading on inner edge, but none a real flat or real dark. To some flat means sorta-flat or flat somewhere on moulding. These mouldings have been popular with OEM customers selling framed art.
