A little frame we created for a painting by a Wounded Warrior

Frame is african mahogany finished to match fotio 9057HO liner Raphael P covered with white linen
glazing lexan ,alpha rag and coroplast( 2 layers crossed corrugation) backing, french cleat strainer with 5 vertical
braces

painting is 166 width X 24" Height frame is 5 inch wide 3 1/2 tall

built and fit by 4 of my very competent framers

Wow!

Your 'little frame' looks amazing. You must feel so proud of a tricky job pulled off so well! (For you and some others it may be an everyday occurrence but I think it's awesome)
 
Is that flat or a shallow scoop? If it's a scoop - - how did you mill it? That is a nice wide
moulding.

One heck of a job! :thumbsup:

and, what is "African" mahogany? What do you get it?
