Hi Orton, Certainly good to know you are out and about. Fortunately we can still use the search to look up much of your wisdom and knowlege from time to time. It's about time for Canada to retract some of this cold air. Stay safe.

Long time no talk... hmmm actually, it was yesterday.
Orton has been VERY busy for the last two years, but he has stayed off the ice! We should all be as busy as Orton. (I asked him to send some of his work my way.)

I tried to post a detailed note but The Grumble wouldn't take it and it disappeared.
Here's a precis, unedited, please excuse the grammatical and spelling infractions.
I have been super-busy for the last 18 months or so mostly filling government contract s for various heads of state - takes me away from the studio a lot! - can't get anything done - falling well behind - 18-20 hour days are the norm - am wearing out - so I took a couple of days off away from the phones and dropped in for a short visit.
. . . been cold this year, record-setting -40C last week for a couple of nights with daytime warming up to -20 so will be out on the ice next week via scoot or skidoo - no safe ice last year - this year is different. No chance of repeating problems from two years ago - all the dummies were told to stay at home.
Will be laying off the entire staff, shutting down for two weeks and for the second time in 35 years, will be taking a holiday before we really get busy for this new season.
That's it for now, you are up to date.
I'll drop in again from time to time, in the meanwhile, stay warm and Be Well.
