Longtime customer who frames a lot of her daughters' art brought in her collection of their hair bows along with a dress form she had made with their names embroidered on it. We chose the materials together and she gave me free reign over arrangement of the bows etc. I tried to arrange them so the sizes increased from top to bottom and the colors and patterns balanced out as best possible. Attachment was by a combination of using the bows' own clips, stitching, and Attach-EZ fasteners. Mom and girls squealed with delight when they picked it up. Fun project.

Thanks, J Paul. This is another project that combines a flanged acrylic box with a regular depth frame, similar to the crystal radio project in my PFM article. On this one, I like the way the acrylic sides kind of transmit the pink color of the mat. It helps give the whole thing a light, feminine feel.
