I posted a plea for help designing something for my nephew.

I got some public posts from people that I have emailed and talked with (on my friends list) but was surprised by the amount of PM'ed resoponses that I received from people I have never talked with or emailed.

There were offers to help me and one person did a GREAT job of designing exactly what I hoped for.

Thanks to all who offered their ideas and services, it is really apreciated.

I stayed away from the Grumble for the better part of the last month. The election was getting a bit ugly here and I wanted to step back and concentrate on other things, but stepping back in and getting more help than I could have hoped for made me appreciate our little comunity.

Mat, thanks for the design, you did a great job and Dominic (my nephew) is going to be blown away.


I paid the kindness forward today and replaced broken glass for someone at no cost. It took little time and made her day and it was my way of paying my "karma tab" onto someone else.

Other than the occasional troll, this place is great because of the people on here.

I'll post a pic when it is done, right now I have to still sew the jersey and build the frame.
