8 Ply Mat Blades?

Looking for some advice/opinions on which thickness and style of blade to use for cutting 8 ply board?

I always use .015 single edge blades on my 2200 for standard board and have never had a problem.

I have great success with 1200SE. Be sure to not try and cut it in one pass. You need to make at least three passes with the blade going a little deeper into the board with each pass.

wow! I have a wizard, but not the version that cuts 8 ply..

anywho, I have an old Carithers Signature mat cutter and I cut 8ply on that beast in one pass.
it cuts beautifully.
I had never thought about making a few passes for that board. interesting...

oh yeah, and i used fletcher mat cutter blades. the ".012 Super Keen". That's what it says on the box! Seriously!
