Hi All

Another bit of help with a translation if possible.

4 Lovely little pen and ink water colour pieces.

Any body able to translate?

We think we have the order correct but not sure.

Supposed to be spring; summer; autumn and winter.

One assumes the writting states which is which?

Thanks for any help that can be offered.

Personal opinion is that spring and autumn look reversed. There are no blooms in the current order of spring. The brown image of the current spring order looks to indicate autumn's turn toward winter.

I cannot help with the translation but the order looks good to me. The winter one is especially lovely.
I agree with Framar (Mar) on the order.
I can't translate but I see the Spring thaw, The Summer bloom, the orange Fall, and the obvious Winter snow.

Your probably right forgot they were still in the order the customer put them down in.

Excited to find out what is written on them?

Yeap...they are in the order. Very nice Chinese poems about the writer's feeling of every season.....sorry...is a bit difficult to translate! :-)

Glad they are probably in the right order.............guess customer had some form of evidence that they should be that way

Nobody is able to translate them?

Through the magic of the internet I arranged for my wife who is in China to translate these for you. According to her they are in the correct order of Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. She could not see the printing well on the Winter photo but says it means "Snow in the evening" the rest is a signature and an Chinese date she could not translate. The Spring is titled Small street in Spring time the rest is a signature and an Chinese date she could not translate. Summer is titled "Summer village on river the rest is a signature and an Chinese date she could not translate. Autumn title is "walk on small village street in golden Autumn with artist signature and date of 2000 but last digit is debatable.
Hope this info is useful.
