3M Vac-U-Mount w/pipeclamp (pipeclamp NOT included...?
Have any of you ever had/have problems with the nozzle on a can of Vac-U-Mount? Sometimes after only a few seconds of using, nothing comes out. The nozzle is not blocked... i just have to use a blunt object to push it back down. It was getting more and more aggravating to use so i started using a 3" metal hose clamp with a piece of wire to hold the main part of the nozzle in place so it doesn't keep popping up. I called 3M and explained (tried to)the problem and each person i talked to had no idea what the problem could be... they never heard of it
(i even had to explain to them what Vac-U-Mount was and what it was used for!). I hope they can correct this problem or at least supply a "hose clamp with each "box of 12".... lol.
If you do not use Vac-U-Mount, but DO use a adhesive from an aerosol can what product do you use?
Have you ever considered using the 3M ProSpray system? It is a water based adhesive and you do not need a gas mask to use it. I am a former Vac-u-mount, Super77 user.
